Spartan Infosoft Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Software Testing Freshers to join our Quality Assurance team. The selected candidates will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, verifying fixes, and ensuring applications meet functional and quality requirements. Freshers will receive practical training and guidance in software testing methodologies, test case preparation, defect tracking, API testing, and automation testing concepts. Candidates should have good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn software testing and quality assurance processes. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Understand project requirements and business specifications. • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements. • Perform functional and non-functional testing of software applications. • Execute test cases and document test results. • Identify, report, and track software defects. • Re-test defects after fixes and verify that issues are resolved. • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected. • Perform smoke and sanity testing on application builds. • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing where required. • Test web applications and mobile applications based on project requirements. • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman. • Validate application data and database results using SQL queries. • Maintain testing documentation and defect reports. • Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve application issues. • Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings. • Support User Acceptance Testing and release activities. • Learn and implement automation testing tools and frameworks as required. • Follow QA processes, testing standards, and company guidelines. • Participate in Agile/Scrum development and testing activities. • Complete assigned testing tasks within defined timelines. DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE • Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply. • Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). • Good knowledge of manual testing concepts. • Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and defect life cycle. • Basic knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing. • Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts. • Basic understanding of API testing and REST APIs. • Knowledge of Postman is an advantage. • Basic understanding of automation testing concepts is preferred. • Knowledge of Selenium or any automation testing tool is an advantage. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently as well as in a team. • Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies. • Positive attitude and strong commitment to quality.
