Spartan Infosoft Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and motivated Java Team Lead to join our Software Development team. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Java developers, designing and developing scalable applications, reviewing code, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, software architecture, and team leadership. Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills are essential for this role. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and mentor a team of Java developers. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications. • Analyze business and technical requirements and convert them into effective solutions. • Design application architecture and technical solutions based on project requirements. • Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices. • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. • Guide developers in debugging and resolving complex technical issues. • Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability. • Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. • Optimize application code, SQL queries, and backend services. • Coordinate with QA teams for testing, defect resolution, and releases. • Work closely with project managers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders. • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and technical discussions. • Estimate development tasks and help define project timelines. • Track team progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. • Identify technical risks and provide appropriate solutions. • Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment. • Support CI/CD and application deployment activities. • Maintain technical documentation and project-related information. • Stay updated with modern Java technologies, frameworks, and development practices. DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE • 5–8 years of experience in Java software development. • Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming. • Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot. • Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices. • Good understanding of Java Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and JVM concepts. • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases. • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar databases. • Good understanding of software design patterns and clean coding practices. • Experience with Git and version control systems. • Knowledge of Maven or Gradle build tools. • Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong team leadership and mentoring abilities. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within deadlines. • Ability to make technical decisions and resolve complex development challenges.
